Club Kid Amanda and freshly drafted Radio Team member Gerry had the distinction of being the last young participants to broadcast live on Chicago's WCEV 1450 AM. This short segment, in the second half of the day's show featuring Sandra, Kimberly and Coya of the Guild Literary Complex's "Tour Guides" was a nice tribute to the mission of Club Kids Radio throughout the years - young people having quality, intelligent and fun conversations on the radio. Sandra was also a part of the conversation while Amanda's father, Moises was in studio videotaping the event. That's Club Kids Radio...two teens, a mom, a dad and Harv controlling radio traffic. Thanks to all who have made the program a success...think about it...1985 to 1995 at WCYC, 1997 to 2005 at WLUW and 2005 to 2010 at WCEV. Not a bad legacy that we hope to continue as an online presence here at wakeupdancing.com and perhaps elsewhere on the radio dial...enjoy, click, listen comment...til soon,
