Also in the interview, Guadalis spoke about her past as a Club Kid, defating the odds that many of her peers in grammar and high school faced growing up in a challenged community, the vital role that her family has played in her personal and professional development and the artistic culture now prevalent among Latinos in Chicago. It was a very enlightening conversation and I am proud to have known Guadalis since she was a youngster and have watched her grow into an outstanding young woman. She is determined to achieve greatness, and she is well on her way.
